High-Fat Diet?

Renowned Sports Dietitian Bob Seebohar, recounts in this recently posted article on ThorneFX’s website, of his journey onboard the high-fat macronutrient shift. He created the concept called Nutrition Periodization (integral to MET) which suggest athletes tailor their daily nutritional needs to their physical training demands.

A must read for all of you who are interested in turning the traditional high-carb, low-fat paradigm on its head! Or maybe this story will at least pique your interest.

I loosely implemented the low-carb concept a number of years ago after I read Bob’s book titled “Metabolic Efficiency Training, Teaching Your Body to Burn Fat as Fuel.” I never turned back to the high-carb way of eating. The body fat just rolled off of me and I felt better than I ever have before. First hand experience is a truth-teller ; )
