Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh dried dates (Marjool is what I use)
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup protein powder
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 fresh blueberries
In a food processor (or just use a blender if you don’t have a food processor), process all the ingredients EXCEPT THE BLUEBERRIES. Knead the blueberries into the mixture by hand. The blueberries add the moisture to the mix. The mixture out of the processor is super duper dry.
Makes approximately 12 1-3/4 ounce bars
Scoop the mixture out of bowl and you can either roll it out with a rolling pin and then slice into bars. Or you can just make one big log shape and just cut pieces off when you want to eat it. Or just roll into small balls.
Wrap them in wax paper and store in the freezer. They do not freeze so you can eat them anytime.
