Metabolic Efficiency Training Specialists Level II certification clinic

METIIgroupF

I am just back from Denver after four days of Level II training with Bob Seebohar out at his performance lab in Lakewood which is just south of Denver. The level II certification course was fantastic! Not just for the content alone but it was an opportunity to meet the other metabolic specialists from all parts of the US and abroad. What an amazing group of people who are all head-deep in metabolics training and hitting this subject full force.

We all presented a case study to the group which only reinforced to me how each person is unique. One size does not fit all and being able to test our clients using a metabolic cart gives the qualitative data necessary to prescribe nutrition and exercise to each individual.

I have been testing now for a good six months on my Parvomedics TrueOne cart and the data that is revealed is astounding! The cart I have here in my InsideOut lab is the gold standard in metabolic testing, also used at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs. While out in CO this past weekend I was able to see Bob Seebohar’s Fuel4mance operation in full swing. His lab also uses the Parvomedics cart and he showed me a few of his calibration methods as well as some helpful clean up tips which I will implement. Nice!

We took a group photo at the end of the clinic. Shown here are my fellow metabolic efficiency training specialists level II colleagues. I am looking forward to sharing our knowledge and bringing my additional learnings into practice. Now I can refer clients who may not be here in the Boston area to a colleague in other parts of the US, Canada and in the UK for testing. My METS colleague can then provide me with the raw data from the test and I can follow through with my client in the interpretation of the data with a final report which includes the nutritional and exercise plan.

Thanks Bob for yet another top notch clinic!
