A great oat bar recipe that is super easy to put together and they taste so much better than anything you can buy at the store.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked steel-cut oats, gluten free
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins or chopped dates
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 large ripe bananas mashed
- 3/4 cup finely chopped apple
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl until they are well combined. Press into a 9 x 9 inch baking pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. When cool cut into bars.
Makes approximately 8 bars
